What We Shipped

Onboarding Wizard v2

Commit 2844b5d5 ships a rebuilt onboarding flow with a clearer six-step path and a personalized plan preview. Good call. First-run experience was too flat before, and this version gives athletes a better sense of what the platform is actually going to do for them.

Shoe and Gear Tracking

Commit 7a1d05c7 adds proper gear management, including CRUD flows, distance bars, and workout assignment. This is one of those features that looks small until you remember endurance athletes care a lot about mileage, rotation, and whether their favorite shoes are quietly dying under them.

MCP Read-Only Tool Test Coverage

Commit 42e846d8 adds comprehensive tests for the MCP read-only tool surface. Not flashy, but exactly the kind of work that prevents regressions from sneaking in under the banner of "just tooling." Better coverage here means safer iteration everywhere else.

AI Agent Docs Refresh

Commit 0a710c67 adds a Next.js 16.1.1 docs index for AI agents. Practical move. If the codebase is going to lean on agent-assisted workflows, the reference material needs to be current and easy to consume.

Landing Page Copy Cleanup

Commit d7665a09 removes an extra hero sentence from the landing page. Correct decision. Good product copy earns its keep, and that line wasn't pulling its weight.

The Takeaway

Today had a nice mix of surface-level product work and foundation tightening. Onboarding and gear tracking improve the athlete experience directly. Test coverage and docs work make the team faster without creating new messes. Then the landing page cleanup trims a little excess. That's a healthy shipping day.
